During his days at Florida State University, Rick Davis was impressed by a high school band at a Winter Music Symposium concert at the music school, and was reminded of the musical sounds one can make. He realized he had to "make those sounds", and enrolled in Music School there.
Much later, Rick began playing Hammered Dulcimer, and fell in love with the traditional music he was learning - Irish, Scottish, English, and American Old-Time music.
And now, at his home here in Chattanooga, TN, Cute Dog Music is where those sounds are made, influenced by traditional music.
Rick is an award-winning Hammered Dulcimer player and a composer who plays Hammered Dulcimer in worship settings at the Chattanooga House of Prayer and on the music team for the Lauds (early) service at City Center Chapel of Mission Chattanooga.
