Accommodations in and near Bushmills:

  • The Bushmills Education Centre, located, of course, in Bushmills, is the headquarters facility ("base camp") for the festival.  Here, there is hostel style dorm accommodation at £36.60 + VAT* per person for Friday from 19:00 hrs till 14:30 hrs Sunday.  This price includes your main meals.  There is off-street parking, as well.  For more details & to book, .  Or if you are Stateside, .
    It should be noted that, at this centre, there is a strict No Alcohol policy.

    * Note: UK VAT (Value Added Tax) rates vary, but at the Ed. Centre, it's 17.5%.  You will find that other accommodations, such as the Mill Rest Hostel below, do not have to charge VAT, because of the way VAT rules work.  VAT may be charged on a number of items or services, such as food, but at a lower rate than 17.5%.
    From our source in Co. Antrim we are told that "Most, if not all, businesses add tax automatically, and any price your are asked is the gross amount to be paid."  So, be sure to ask when booking a room, etc. if the price quoted includes VAT or not.  So, now you know - at least part of the story.

  • Mill Rest, Bushmills new International Hostel, is only 5 Minutes walk from the Ed. Centre.
    Accommodation is only £11, per person, per night.

  • The Giant's Causeway Holiday Cottages
    This complex is half a mile from the Giant's Causeway itself & 5 Mins. drive from Bushmills & the Ed. Centre.  Each Cottage offers one master bedroom & two twin bedrooms, so can sleep 6 persons.  Central heating, separate shower room & WC, excellent Kitchens with Microwave & Dishwasher, Lounge with open fire with locally cut Turf & Coal, Private Car Parking.
