The Acoustic Tuner Clip (Cat# ATC01) is an excellent way to make tuning easier, especially in noisy environments.
Simply insert the 1/4" plug into your tuner, clip the alligator clip
onto a hitch pin or tuning peg on your dulcimer, and the
only thing your tuner will "hear" is the note on your instrument.
(For tuning only. Not for use with an amplifier.) Some clips may have a right angle plug.

Double-sided Hammers (Cat# HMJJ01) by James Jones. These are the hammers Cute Dog recommends.
They are the heaviest of James's hammers, made of maple, and have a double-sided normal
"short" striking surface. Handles are made from a
variety of woods. Not too heavy to get good dynamics playing with these.
