Here are some comments about Rick's performances:

"In Ballycastle, ...it was the first time for many, many years, possibly ever, that no fewer than three Hammered Dulcimers were heard being played together in the same room!  A champion player, Rick Davis, who had travelled all the way from North Carolina, entertained us all with his wonderful musicianship on a beautifully crafted modern chromatic Dulcimer...."
Dick Glasgow, in his column, 'Traditional Notes', in the "Ballymoney Times", Ballymoney, Co. Antrim, No. Ireland, June 7, 2006

"...your presence added greatly to our festival, and I sincerely appreciate your participation."
Jeff, Aversboro Elementary School Multicultural Festival

"The music is just beautiful...."
"Beautiful!"
"...the instant the music started, a calm spiritual feeling came over me."
"I got out of my car and it was like magic."
Comments of vendors and customers at the Wake Forest Community Market, Summer 2003

"Rick dazzled us all from start to finish, with superb musicianship on his Hammer Dulcimer.  With his warm, friendly personality too, he made many new friends over the weekend, wherever he went, just the ideal sort of guy to invite to any musical gathering......"
Dick Glasgow, in his review of the 1st BLACK NUN FEST, Ballycastle, Co. Antrim, No. Ireland, June 25, 2003
